Listening to that song gave me an intense urge to get a violin, look deeply into its eye's and whisper "Why are you so sad" while crying.

As for the sad songs thing:

Komm Susser Todd, to me, sounds like the most depressing state of mind to possibly be in for anyone, and yet saying it with a somewhat cheery voice. What really gets me is in the end, there's a large number of people that are woo-ing and cheering as the song gets even more upbeat.

Chorus:

I just keep letting me down, letting me down, letting me down."
