Oh, same-ish. I've discovered I have a gym - a really nice one too, judging from... well, promo shots, but still - in spitting distance of my apartment. It's five minutes' walk, literally.

It turns out you shouldn't get emotionally attached to creatures you're simultaneously trying to kill.

Because, you know, eventually you'll succeed.

Tell that to one of our cows, Roberta.

Damn thing's treated like a pet, a princess among cows :P

It avoided being killed for beef because of our human weakness :P

I know Webadict made a very inspirational post on the subject in the Happy thread the other day, saying he had become fit and was well on his way to "douchebag abs" after getting over his fear of going to the gym. Apparently it's not as bad as we thought- I've always had the same worries about attending the gym as you do.

Once I move next month I fully intend to find a gym and try to un-weakify myself. Hold me to that.
Is there an actual advantage to going to the gym over just clearing some floor space and exercising at home?

Paying a monthly fee is a good incentive to actually motivate yourself into going in order to get your monies worth.
