That's hardly obscure.
Not if you're part of the Florida school system!

We don't need no classical literary-ature when we c'n have agriculture class. WOOHOO, GROWIN' CORN!
I know farming is important but so is not being retarded, and knowing your nations history is a bit more important to most american lives than knowing sixteen different types of rice and how to raise a crop of them.

I participate in the Florida school system and I'm currently reading the Scarlet letter for school. Maybe all that stuff is just in north Florida (which is more like the American South than southern Florida)?.

My University had a farming major. The agriculture students generally seemed to have a pretty interesting field. Even in lower grades, farming class honestly seems like more of a learning experience than the scarlet letter was - books I could read on my own time, how often would I get to learn about farm stuff?

To each their own, I guess.

Jail's not big enough for the one of him!

... that somehow sounded like I was making remarks about his body weight :V

Or my girth. >.>
<.<

Dude, you spend so much time explaining how jail doesn't have the same homosexual connotations as prison, and then you tell us wang size is a factor in whether or not you get imprisoned there?!
You aren't fooling anybody.

...More seriously, congratulations on getting out of it! :P Although I bet you're actually disappointed. "Straight", pfft!

So. I somehow didn't go to jail. Even with missed classes and a missed meeting with my counselor, they said I was doing good. When I asked about the classes (Protip: I'm fucking gangster. I said, "But I didn't do what I was supposed to. Shouldn't I get sanctioned?") The judge said, "Don't worry about it."

...
I think I should be scared.
Happy thread ahoy!

Not so much sad as a vague sense of loss, here.

I'm moving away from home, so I'm sorting through alllllll the old junk from my childhood. Figuring out what to throw away, what to box up and shove into a closet to forget about, and what to actually take with me. Lots of old arts and crafts projects that have been sitting on my shelves for a decade are going in the garbage (except maybe a neat paper mache t-rex I made in 4th grade; he's kinda cute. Would make an interesting thing to put on top of my PC case). Most my old toys are going to my nephew. Old nintendo powers are getting boxed up. Some VHS movies are in the "I dunno" pile. My display broadsword and katana are probably coming with me, but I'm not sure yet.

Oh, and I found about $30 in change amongst everything. That was good.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Are they paying you for travel? If not, that sucks. If so, then hey....I'd love to be paid to drive around. By myself. Not having to talk to idiots.
