I don't mind either. But I still think we need a news subfourm or something.
Why? If you don't mind me asking?

Political talk seems like it fits well with General Discussion.

I failed my math in what I guess is the american high school. I got the lowest possible score you can get while meeting up, the only lower score possible is the one for not meeting up. Yeah ehm.. >_>

Damn...

I'm sad that insanity and blindess runs in my dad's side and cancer runs in my mum's side.

Fantastic... I have a potential to be a blind, cancer-infested schizophrenic.

Same consonant: 10*5*10
Different consonant: 10*5*9.

Eh, GD is pretty split.
Some people want serious, others want silly.
I did a mockup awhile ago where the GD really was split.
One side was for all the stuff that's really serious, like news and whatnot, while the other side was for more silly stuff, like the feeling threads.
Also, Life Advice was officially marked tech support.

So, first one can make Cec Nan Tot and Cen Nat Toc while the one below can only make Cen Nat Toc?

I question if it would be a good thing to try to split serious and silly.

I would think without the silly the serious would turn into a huge argument and need to be shut down, and without the serious the silly would... Well... Lets just say that in the end it would need to be shut down as well. Possibly with fire.

For me in particular it's just I'd rather avoid those topics. I kinda shield myself from the news over a strange mix of apathy and caring too much. It's not like I want that stupid "serious and non serious" split everyone wont be quiet about, it's just that I think it might fit better in it's own place since there seems to be a certain subset of posters that want to talk about it and don't.

Funny, I recall making the same point from the other side of the debate saying that we need more discussion threads and less pointless twitter threads and being met by a wall of "If you don't like it, don't read it!!!"
