Good luck, people are buying them so they can go to work.  The hospitals, for instance, are requiring temp checks with thermometers obtained outside the hospital before you can get in.

While this is less a happy thread thing, I can confirm via my wife, a nurse, that the current policy is not to test until an employee comes down with a fever. Then they test and if they come up positive they are sent home.

At first i was like TEST MY GODDAM WIFE YOU FUbut then it was explained to me that the other option is to test every employee every day, which would use huge amounts of available supplies for definitely sick folks.

Antibody tests will tell us how much the virus has infiltrated our society. Might provide a clue about resilience too.

But it doesn't change the first wave one iota. Look at Italy. Regardles of whether it's death rate is 8.6% of 47000 or 0.86 of 470000, they're getting pounded out there. Lockdowns are still necessary.
