C'mon man, you've learned more than that through my Hellsign LP alone!

I had forgotten what I had learned from that.

In-jokes are the best kind of jokes to talk about in a public forum.

A large amount of the weird, postmodern, abstract, bizarro Humour that has inevitably come to define the Internet in many ways really doesn’t translate well into real-life jokes, since so much of it relies on in-jokes. That said, sometimes the sheer absurdity out of context can get You laughter anyway.

My Mum's been having computer problems for 3 months, to the point where she wrote off her mac as a broken, lost cause. I've never used macs before so I was reluctant to help, but we all had a family dinner for the new year and I gave it a shot. Checked the system settings and turned wifi on. Mum looked at me as if I solved the Universal Theory & Davinci Code. Cat chewed my arm. Besides my friend getting cotton stuck in his ear (I warned you about the cotton bro, I warned you), good day.

I finally tried Roblox for that sake of that popular shooter on it, Phantom Forces. Unironically enjoyed it a lot. The game has more mechanical polish than the last ten generations of AAA shooters, feels like someone tried to capture the essence of QIII:A in the shell of a Call of Modern Battlefare game, and it plays damn well. Also more than a little amused that a game designed for children has harsher recoil mechanics than basically anything I've played since Day of Defeat: Source and higher default sensitivity than anything short of Warframe.

Seriously, if fast-paced shooters are your thing, give it a shot. Shit's smooth as silk and unlike some other shooters I could name, there aren't hitreg issues out the arse. From what I could tell in a few hours of playing it also feels like there's a pretty solid community of adults playing on M&K, since some people were playing far too well to be kin to the six year olds using gummed-up xbox gamepads that play on the public computers at work.

You fool! You have invoked Him, now He will come and destroy us all!

Yes, yes, unless we say the prayer.

Roblox is bad and for kids, amen.

They used the word "bot" because they're not actually a life-form, they're a robot made of meat. Xeno, because they're definitely not an Earth lifeform, if they are one. It's definitely not a frog. For example, if you took human muscle cells and grew a spider-bot that could walk around, you wouldn't say that's a "human" would you?

No. I’m not saying the xenobot is a frog either. The video mentioned that it developed emergent behavior, like latching into other xenonots and moving together, turning around, or spinning. We don’t have full control over what the group of cells does. While they used to be part of an organism, they are not working as that organism anymore. They are a new multicellular creature made of cells that were once part of something else. A multicellular entity in the shape of a spider made of human cells would not be called a human. I wouldn’t call it a bot either. I would call it a new multicellular organism

I really want the cotton incident to have happened at your family dinner

I haven't read the article so I'm utterly uninformed but that sounds a lot like a longer way of saying "they bumped into each other a lot" ;)

Maybe we invented biological bumper cars?

Happened after, but would've been hilarious. What's even funnier is that the doctors said it was too close to his eardrum to pull out with tweezers, and they'd need a specialist ENT doctor to remove it. So he waits all through the night sleeping on his ear and after waiting 6 hours in a waiting room for the ENT doctor to be available, ENT doctor tells him the cotton fell out in the night
