So I posted my sad about the house deal falling through a couple days ago.

We just looked at a house today that everyone likes worlds better than that one, and were shocked to find that it is likely affordable for us.

And our landlord was really nice about extending our rent where we are right now.

I'm drunk, but I'm handling it, because I'm really worried and I want to be there for them.

Being drunk is kinda nice, obviously, heh.  But it was kinda triggered by "They live in Florida and took refuge in Georgia and now MY power is out, please be okay"

So, a happy thing.

I woke up this morning with a stabbing pain in the right of my gut. My dad had appendicitis around when he was my age, and according to how he described it seemed a whole lot like what I was experiencing. I rushed over to the emergency room, and the doctor said that according to my symptoms, it was probably appendicitis.

I do a blood test, urine test, CT scan, etc., and I'm really freaked out because I really don't want to have to go through surgery.

Doctor comes back, says that none of the tests show that I have appendicitis or any other dangerous condition. He says that I probably just had some really, really bad gas buildup in my colon. So no surgery! Words cannot describe how relieved I am right now.
