I have completely reinstalled windows on my computer. Surely this will fix all that bullshit thats been slowly building up.

Now I just have to reinstall and relocate EVERYTHING because I totally forgot to backup my files beforehand.

For a gimmicky dating sim, the writing in friggin' Dream Daddy is actually incredibly adorable and bittersweet and good? Like, this is one of those actually very good Visual Novels masquerading as something dumb with a silly premise (Hatoful Boyfriend, I am looking at you). And I am extremely okay with this.

Pff, Maid RPG is fun times.  At least you're not playing something edgy like World of Darkness
(NWoD is so great but so cringey if I overthink it)

Or...  you might be playing Bellum Maga.
So edgy I initially thought it was NWoD, but definitely about magical girls (technically).  Mixed with the proofreading and balance of FATAL...  Though at least the rules aren't as unnecessarily byzantine.
I'd kinda like to try it sometime.  It has some themes which border on the fetishistic, though, and it's incredibly political.

Uh in other news, I went to the zoo yesterday.  Did you know that cousins might pay your fare if you watch their children for a week?  I've been wanting to do this for years, and it was not disappointing!

It was 103 degrees, and 6 hours, but I carried a backpack full of water and tea, and we all had a blast.
And between good shades and sunscreen, I didn't burn or go blind BD

Happy: Had to do a medical exam today for work. Passed it just fine, even my blood pressure and heart rate were in the green range (I'd been vaguely worrying about those for a while now). My weight's gone down as well.

The subsequent visit to the DMV was significantly less happy, but at least that particular chore is out of the way for another two years.
