Birthdays are... I don't know, I feel like I'd enjoy them just fine if I felt like I had anything to show for the year passing.
Hopefully I'm in a better place by the time I turn 24 in a couple of months. Then it'll be an occasion worth actually celebrating!

Birthdays are very very meh and not usually a happy thread topic for me. I just posted it out of tradition. My birthdays usually go better than my sisters, at least, because I don't get my hopes up like she does.

I get really into birthdays, because I'm secretly really narcissistic, and having a day all about me is great happy that I've lived through another year, which, considering the amount of things that could kill me, is pretty good.

I make my birthdays fun. I host a game day at my place, we eat tasty food, and there is cake. Good excuse to hang out with friends!

Birthday is just an excuse to go buy myself a cake and eat all of it without saying a word to anyone because nobody even remembered/ever asked when my birthday was and I like cake and I wouldnt get one otherwise. Half the time my family just celebrates Christmas and my birthday simultaneously and I eat half a plate of cookies. Speaking of I've got 25 days left to save up for that fuck this year is almost over wut

Nobody invites me to their parties either. Fuck them I'll spend the money on myself if they dont like my gifts

I finally got out of the house today, though. Would have liked to bathe but I have to bring propane back to heat the water to bathe so it's kinda a catch 22 if you care about how bad you look/smell and need to go out in public and buy fuel to correct the problem.

I generally disliked birthdays. Like any other family holiday, there's a ton of pressure to be the embodiment of happiness and excitement like I just had a firecracker shoved up my ass, multiplied by the amount of unsolicited money people spent on me when I'd rather just have a sincere "happy birthday".

I do enjoy cake though. Cake is the best.

I honestly don't know what to do for my birthday very often.  I mean, I definitely get cake, but I barely ever have things I want for any given holiday.

Birthday is just an excuse

Oh yeah, birthdays are a great excuse to get extremely drunk and have a lovely time, but then I usually don't need an excuse for that.
More people tend to pay for your drinks when it's your birthday, though, so there's that I guess.

It took me until noon until I realized it was my birthday and my family was waiting to say anything until I fugured it out. Good times.

I am doing research on gym routines and gym exercises. Practicing some exercises using body weight before trying to go to a gym.

Muscles are burning, despite how I'm simply trying to get the form correct. 5, 10, maybe 15 repetitions of the exercise at most. Nothing extreme.

Pretty certain muscles feeling used and heart/breathing increasing is a good thing. So I'm heartened by that. Sounds stupid but I've never actually seriously had interest in exercise and feeling it working is exciting.
