Sorry for the near-double posting but, having reached the near-end of Pokemon moon, i have some things to say about it.

Spoiler: potentially spoiler-ish rant (probably fine) (click to show/hide)

The game captures what I love about the pokemon games, and the reason I buy a new one every few years, despite the similarities between games. It captures that feeling of being a hero, and this particular game captures it more than the rest. It really makes you feel as though you are in the world, and the characters are well-written, and the story is actually pretty good! I found myself nearly crying over one part, and grinning with glee at the next. It captures the wonder of pokemon, and the feeling of heroism, by making you really feel as though you've just moved to a new country, but you're ready to take on the world regardless. It's going down as one of my favourite pokemon games, and one of my favourite games.

I've had a surprising amount of "get up and go" this week. I thought I was going to lie down and wait everything out, but instead I'm making things happen and feeling pretty good.

Driving 4.5 hours yesterday and again today was not only worth it to see my mom and libertarian cousin/nephews... It actually was a beautiful tour of NC that gave my "solitude battery" a welcome recharge (:

I'll prolly crash Monday, but maybe not bad, and this substance-free high is painfully nice in the meantime.

Yay, my self-image (esp. body image) is positive again! (That is, I feel fine with my body; this may or may not be body image. It could also be the case that I have dealt with issues that resulted in not liking my body, but I'm just going to go with body image because it is a quick way of saying it.) Also, I've noticed something similar to a "smiling makes you happy" effect - after wearing clothes that I usually wear when I'm feeling good about myself and my body, I feel better about myself and my body. Very useful knowledge...

Why is there no well-established, non-gendered generic word for this relationship, the way we have "Cousin" or "Child" or "Parent"?

O hey, solifuga is now going to experience grooming a future mealbeing a aunt, sweet. From experience, its pretty much like having a much younger cousin, except you don't want to kill them most of the time and you develop this strange sense of caring affection for them. The little dweeb will grow on you, surely. Maybe he-she will actualy end up becoming your minion.

Video games (both casual and eSports), programming competitions, music, seminars, anything to do with computers, really. There's also tabletop games and stuff.
