The penguin is portrayed in a rather simpathetic light in some batman variations. Depending on what you read, he goes from crazed mutant psychopath to smart embezzler and generally-great-at-making-money-through-illicit-means-but-otherwise-normal-criminal person.

God the actor for Penguin on Gotham is soooo good. The fact he's the Outsider in Dishonored 2 now makes it even better. The guy can make a murderous psychopath so sympathetic. Not gonna say much else, due to spoilers, but still. The guy's a good actor.

I think it's pretty good. Haven't seen anyone really underperform acting wise. But if you mean plot and/or the premise, I dunno how to really help with that

I think it's the writing. It very often comes across as chesesy, nonsensical, and sometimes inconsistent.

I recently watched the first episode of.r two of the second season, and at one point Gordon puts his gun away to deal with an armed suspect. Then there's the issue of having a woman in prison with a bunch of guys...

The most egregious part though, was when said woman is broken out of prison with 5 guys, one of whom gets killed by whoever breaks 'em out. Later on, Gordon is discussing it with Bullock, who then comments something along the lines of "hey what about Barbara and those 4 guys that broke out of jail?" despite it never being brought up the body of the other dude was found.

Honestly, I can over look over the prison situation because it's Arkham. Arkham's a shit place and the fact it's basically been forced through by the Falcone and Maroni(IIRC, I might be wrong), means that what Thomas and Martha wanted by refurbishing it never happened. Ergo, you get the mixed sex conditions. I may be wrong though. Still about halfway through Season Two. Just after Gordon is attacked by the hitmen sent by Tabitha after Gallavan is taken into custody, so I haven't rewatched any episodes.

So there's this game about microcontroller programming

I mean, "game", in the sense that it has a plot and catchy electronic music, I guess, because the rest of it is just assembly programming. I feel like I finally get assembly! I unlocked a new tier of zen today.
