I've been abrasive this past week, I guess.
If you were, then I haven't noticed that.
Cause I wasn't being abrasive to you (or on the forums in general). I'm just, ugh. There's too many people in this house.
Also dogs best.

And also time cafes with cats living in them sometimes.

My 1.5 year old was standing next to a 3 year old today...

Mine was slightly taller.

Did you jeer at the loser baby? It's very cathartic, jeering at babies.

Whoops, missed this. That sounds really cool. What's the average hourly rate for a club like this?

A normal rate is around two roubles/minute, at least in Moscow, which puts it at about $2/hour. I've seen both cheaper and more expensive ones. It's usually worth your while, anyway, since a lot of them have professional-level coffee machines, which means you can avail yourself of like $50 worth of coffee in Starbucks rates for like $6.

There's a cafe chain here that offers bottomless coffee for R20 (~$1.50). I've never tested the limits, but my sisters occasionally go there to sit and work and drink coffee. It's legitimately bottomless; they serve you the first cup, and then the waiter points out a bank of frequently-refreshed flasks containing more coffee. I have no idea how long you'd have to be there to get kicked out.

Is their trick that they don't have restrooms for the customers and the 'bottomless' stops as soon as you walk out?  :P

Jack Harkness has a TARDIS? I stopped watching Dr. Who some time ago.

Long-distance relationships are surprisingly fun~
Relationships ain't bad in general, in my experience.
Then again re: this house has too many people in it - soon as I / SO can fix up some stable income, I'm moving outta here very rapidly. And then my long-distance-with-intermittent-bouts-of-short-distance relationship can be short-distance for an appreciable period of time.
And there will be substantially more quiet. I honestly don't care much about all else as long as there's no roaches. But man, have I given myself an appreciation for quiet.
Really looking forward to all that, despite the fact that I have no problem with the way it is now. Well, maybe some problems, but nothing fatal.

Hey, that's a really good deal.
One thing that the time cafes here have going for them is that there's boardgames/futons/game consoles/all sorts of comfy stuff. You can just hole up in a corner on a pile of futons, for example. If yours has all that too, then it's an absolutely fantastic deal.

-snippity-
I'll warn you that you'd need a fair bit more qualification to be able to dive any wrecks I know of in the Pacific (even of the divable ones I've heard of) due to depth and gas (and safety) limitations. Expedition diving is some pretty damn high level stuff :P

at least it's not cave diving eh

god i miss the ocean right now
