It's been raining allllll day today.
Even better, my rain jacket has been doing an admirable job of keeping me relatively dry.

I like rain until I have to get wet. And then I sometimes still like it. There's something soothing about a light drizzle falling on you.

I like rain.  Rain makes a pleasant pitter patter on the window, and helps keep the temperature down to reasonable levels, and blocks the daystar.

The daystar is the enemy.  It makes it hot.  Too hot.   And puts glare on the screen.  And gives you cancer, but at this point bottled water should have a disclaimer on the bottle along the lines of

"Required to continue living. Warning: Living has been shown to cause cancer."

so that last one is kinda pointless.

It is something of a dichotomy in that it is also an easy way to get vitamin D, and it doesn't really work so well if you put on sunscreen to block the cancer rays.

You know, I never imagined myself being good at writing, well, anything. Hated literature classes where you had to be "creative", hated language classes where you had to write a "composition"...

Apparently I was wrong~ ...turns out I'm just only good at writing something which I really like...

I spend 10 minutes outside without sunscreen and I get all red. Doesn't really go from burn to tan, just gets really itchy, which is annoying 'cause it's usually still inflamed so it burns all to fuck to scratch it.

I don't really like rain. Too wet. Snow is great but only when there's enough for a snow-day. I prefer cloudy-but-not-rainy.

oh i'm also going to see said Vitamin D Dispensary tomorrow for a halloween party (my first) (last minute so i don't have a costume)

(also bringing like 12 cans of alcoholic cider because that and scotch are like, the only drinks I can stand, and scotch is Expensive)
