So, in War of the Lions, the PSP remake of Tactics, there's an extra stage with Algus reanimated specifically so you can kill him again. I enjoyed that so much.

Oh, yeah, that was pretty nice of them

I have Tactics, it was one of my first purchases from my first paychecks from my first job. I played it until I got the Calculator class then lost interest because holy shit is Calculator just the most overpowered crap you've ever seen Jesus Christ. Actually sucked the fun out of the game for me.

Weeeell, they take place in Ivalice I guess?  And the mechanics are similar, though "dumbed down"...  They removed the freakin "I win" that were calculators, along with other interesting classes...  But added Viera and Argonians (whatever they're called, they're good early as monks but I always dropped them).

Honestly anybody who enjoyed FFTA should play FFT, it's definitely better.  And maybe FFTA2, it's WAY better than FFTA.
Couldn't say which of FFTA2 and FFT is better.  FFT certainly has a much better storyline.

I remember playing FFT (The PSP one more than the PS1). It's so satisfying when you have a ninja/dancer, ninja/bard, dark knight/calculator/Onion Knight (Dark was way better, IMO), and their apprentice(s) following closely, +Main character, of course, delivering the beatdown on that jerk. I made sure to overkill that guy post-mortem.

Spoiler: My preferred method: (click to show/hide)

-Turn all of his forces into frogs via calculation, or dancing (preferred)
-Sing a few songs to make everyone crazy-strong/fast
-Slow everyone down (and numerous other punishments delivered by dancing (random) and calculations (more precise))
  =Continue the humiliation further by stacking debuffs/ailments
-Steal/break everyone's gear with your thieves/knights
-Reduce everyone (or Algus specifically) to nothing, before delivering the final blow of your choice (including the slowest takedown: poison).

Optional: Have an orator talk the guy further past death, and then shoot him.

Back to school~ Having a blast in my Psych classes \o/

Like today, our instructor discussed Panic disorders--telling a story (of which she has many :v obviously in general narrative) of a person she helped out, detailing a very clear and vivid impression of how or what happens and such.

Key notes to take from here--the help is always done and finished by the person needing it; the psychologist is like an external help to one's inner potential to be able to be helped. Anxiety is a common characteristic of many stressor disorders, and context is extremely important; context is muchly important to anything even outside the boundaries of disorders into 'everyday life', and these bits of daily life snippets is what I do love in all of my classes thus far \o/ All this integration and applied experience makes it very fulfilling.

I was very sad to be late to school because of personal issues but the happy part is that they understood and helped me feel better. Yay encouragement after missing out a day because of depression.
