Very few forumites keep it like that for so long. I mean up until a couple weeks ago I didn't have a personal text! And my signature was blank for a long time before the stupid flagbearer thread came along and I just had to go along with it

Thank you RedWarrior, I was about to complain about being forgotten, since I never left...

But I actually still fondly remember that avatar, but I decided to change it when people claimed to believe that the picture was of ME, which is explicitly not true, I'm not as cool as that Tarantula guy. I don't even know why I chose that guy as my avatar, I just found the picture on a 90's era HTML website about Uruguayan biologists studying wild jungle creatures, which teenage me thought was just the coolest, most exotic thing, so I stole the guy's picture and used it as an avatar for years. I still remember that avatar fondly enough to want to visit a pet store and ask to have a tarantula placed on my shoulder, and then have my real picture taken in homage to that guy and that picture... then I can use that as an avatar, and it really will be me.
