No Man's Sky was set to release on Tuesday, the 9th. I shrugged and took off Saturday anyways, since I had Friday off and wanted a solid block of playtime.

Two days after I put in the request, the PC release date gets pushed back to Friday. ^^

On that note, muahahhahahhah now you share my pain of living in a country that *isn't* part of the UK or the US. It was already going to release then for me, so I'm glad that they're thinkin of the little guys >:3c.

In other, related neww, it's a nice change to people *not* being salty in the steam comments for the delay announcement. we had enough salt in the goddamn no mans sky thread...

Really? That's different. The comments of pretty much every news site were full of moaning about how it's criminal, unprofessional, &c. because they filed for vacation time on Tuesday. Delicious schadenfreude. :P

Y'know, I considered not posting that original bit about my time off good fortune because I was worried that people would start making little snide remarks and restart the argument that got the game thread locked. Maybe I assumed too much about our collective self-restraint.
