June 30. Today is the day that our president elect and all other officials formally take their respective positions. o_o

In other words: Yay thesis lacking stress \o/ I can relax and balance my output stress levels under pressure better! (Though I can't mention why because of reasons but time is a major factor!)

People get their social security checks either today or tomorrow in the U.S. That's a yay for them.

Not so much so for the employees of the smokeshop i work at: traffic increases tenfold, which means ten times as many bitchy whiny assholes destroying our restrooms in a tenth the timeframe and then the next guy yells at you while you're trying to clean it because its taking too long...

So I'm happy I put in my two-weeks notice and they can all kiss my ass goodbye. I'll be able to find another job.

Daddy long legs are cool.  I've heard they're venomous, but can't bite people.  I don't know if that's true.  But they never bothered me like other spiders, they were cute.
They don't live up here where I am, but I used to see a lot where I grew up.  I'd put them on my arms and let them crawl around, heehee.
Like rolly-pollys and inchworms!

There were lots of unfriendly bugs like silverfish millipedes and brown recluses, so these friendly insects were honored guests.
Much like the blacksnakes who handled the rodents.  And the sadly rare kingsnake who chased off the copperheads.

If I remember correctly, they do bite, it's just that their fangs are too small to actually get through our skin, and their venom is actually pretty powerful, from what I've read.

Well, Sweden and Denmark have national days.
As does several other European countries according to Wikipedia.
But the EU itself, yeah it doesn't quite have that.. I think?
