Didn't cry when I was having a moment of 'Holy shit I might die'. Gun threat nearby, school was in lockdown for a very long time. For the first half of it I had no idea if the threat was in or out of the school and promptly freaked.

Glad it's over, though. That's a very very very solid moment of happy.

I recall when there was a shooting in the street in front of my school, and instead of being worried about the gun threat I was busy being hungry.

They lied. No thesis is good. There is only a set of thresholds from primary school to professional academic work at which a thesis (or equivalent) isn't quite terrible enough to need any more revision. If an instructor says that it's good, they really mean "good enough to justify an A and let me focus on helping the utter knuckledraggers improve their drivel".
