So I finally got the new computer, my first build, to work. I immediately popped in Skyrim to test out the new hardware, since my old one had a hard time running it, and cranked all the settings up to max.

Guys, it's so smooth.

Also, I can play Dwarf Fortress and the framerate is amazing. More importantly, it's not shit.

Got an award at work today, their "Employee who made a difference last week" award. Got a print-out paper plaque that was supposed to be in color but the color printer was down, and a pin.

Nice. You could put that on your fridge. 

Sounds low budget and reminds me of schoolteacher's "you get an a+ and you get a sticker" system but on the other hand it means they recognize your work effort.
