Took the puppy to the beach, she absolutely loved the sea. Got a bit freaked when she got totally rolled by a couple of big (ish, they're like 30cm but that's big to her) waves, but I think she'll still be a fan next time. It's nice, all our previous dogs have been lazy, neurotic or both.

Since you guys have been talking about No Mercy, there's a thing that let you skip straight to the fights without having to go through all the murdering.

Even the thing's name is a spoiler to people who haven't played the game

the "no mercy" name has messed people up some
 due to the fact that going through the game with no mercy still ain't a genocide run; you have to systematically slaughter every single monster in an area for the express purpose of killing all of them, which is... like, the definition of genocide

It's not really a super sad game. The happiest ending could make you cry if you're emotionally sensitive or simply not used to the sort of feelings it pokes at.

What I'm mostly trying to say is it's not "Feels bait" like some people present it as.

Are you conflating the ironic dweeb and Tumblr "omg feels" audiences? Because as far as I know they stay pretty distinct, with the latter taking up a large majority but the older and therefore more embedded ones being the former.
