I will agree with this reaction.

Besides, everyone knows it's not autism vaccines cause. It's turning your child into a cow you have to be worried about. The oldies had it right to be worried - they didn't name it Vaccine for nothing.

Besides, the question isn't even, "do vaccines cause autism?", but "is vaccines possibly causing autism a statistically acceptable risk?".

Let's assume a vaccine that causes autism in 0,01% of its takers, but cures a plague with a 1% infectivity rate and a 10% lethality rate. Take a population of 100 000 000 people. Without the vaccine, ~1000 000 people would get ill and ~100 000 of those would die of the plague. With the vaccine, ~10 000 people would get autism, a non-life-threatening condition.

Personally, I would risk taking this vaccine. And these statistical probabilities I pulled out of my arse are actually generous towards the anti-vaccine crowd, with a relatively benign plague and high chance of autism.

Yes, game. I was too sleepy when writing that post.

I think it might be my favorite game out of any I've ever played. It takes a lot to unseat nostalgia-heavy games like FF6 and Chrono Trigger but here we are. I won't say it's the best, because that implies too much objectivity and a sort of universal quality metric that doesn't really exist, but in the realm of subjectivity that preferences allow, it is king.

The only magic in nuclear physics are the nuclei. Cool, also Flerovium is a neat name for an element, which also seems to be gasseous. I look forwards to seeing a mole produced. That'll be good. A good superheavy gas.

Low functioning autism does make me feel bad. First because people with it tend to be frustrating to interact with, and that it takes  a huge amount of work(on their part) to reach a normal position in life.

But hey, superheavy gasses made of metallic atoms. That sounds fun to me.
