I just walked into a bookstore, was told they were closing in 10 minutes, grabbed the first interesting-looking book that caught my eye, and bought it. Yay, new book to read!

Also the shop is apparently having a sale so it was ridiculously bloody cheap. I might go back there and buy more tomorrow.

Just saw Mad Max: Fury Road.  It was the best action movie I've seen in... I don't even know.  Ever?

I was considering making a thread just for it and how much people love apocalyptic action movies in general.  Like a lot of the reviewers, I can only adequately describe seeing Fury Road as a religious experience.

That was not an action movie.  Die Hard is an action movie.  Fury Road is way, way beyond an action movie.

Die Hard is also incredible. I haven't seen Fury Road yet.

Fury Road was like being on drugs. Drugs that haunt you with visions of constant car chases. So not only is it better then most films this year, it's also better then most drugs. I highly recommend it.

On another note: my iPad had six pages of useless apps. After pruning, I now have two pages.
