As much as I love snark. I believe Japa was requesting what medical reasoning (if any). From what I know, it could be convenience induced (this is frowned upon by many, it's rich people "scheduling" their birth for convenience sake...). Medical reasons could be late (usually after I think 1 or 2 weeks they'll consider inducing), size (Da bebe is too big!), health concerns (the baby needs to be tended too soon because of possible issues). Can't think of anything else though. Most common case is probably just being over-due.
I'm curious, midwife or OB? (Do you need to transfer to an OB for induction? I can't remember...)
