Thanks Comrade. If you ever feel left out, whether you celebrate it or not, crash a party and have fun anyway. That's how I see it. It's an open invite for anyone and everyone to have fun together. That's at least my meaning of Christmas. The presents part is for the kids, and those that are still children at heart.

Yea, but the suit he bought doesn't quite suit him. It also looks for all the world like any other, normally priced suit. Hers suits her, was a brilliant deal, and makes her look good.

You can hire a suit (a good quality one, too) for MUCH less. Hell, I bought myself a suit earlier in the year (for interviews and formal events. Just thought I might as well get one so I didn't have to hire in the future) and it came to... £70? Thereabouts. If you know where to look, things can be cheap but good.

I feel like we are all talking about the same thing in different ways. Having style and little money - still good, not having one but having a lot of money - too bad.
Also, damn, clothes in Europe sound pretty cheap if you know the places.

Got some books with various sheet music to play on guitar. Maybe I'll get more in the habit of playing guitar regularly. And get better at reading sheet music. At least now I have material to study and play.

Also got a bunch of cds; Tool's first album "Undertow", Deftones' "B-Sides and Rarities" for 5 bucks, and a couple new cds of bands I'm not familiar with: Attack Attack!, Ra, and Jack Jonhson. Yay, new music.

I went to see the Hobbit movie with family. I've realized something: orcs may not have the sheer fighting prowess of other races or any sort of honor, but they've got a lot of ingenuity, and they don't let a minor setback (like getting your arm chopped off) keep them down. They just turn that arm stump into a sword and head off to battle.

I think what I'm saying is that orcs are basically a whole race of Ash from Evil Dead.

Also, it was nice to see an army of Dwarves fighting.
