One can also not be a jerk at all and be human (not personal experience--though I have seen people be like this from childhood and onwards with very good and well-developed personalities). But that's very insightful of ya :O

A girl talked toe me after school. I am very confused, but cautiously optimistic.

So the girl I'm really into is single again. Now, while that did make me happy it was mostly because her BF was a bit of a douche.

Several minutes after that I realised I'm in no better position than I was before. Mostly because in the six months that we've known each other we've become pretty good friends and I would really really really hate to fuck that up since meeting her was easily one of the best things to ever happen to me, for a number of reasons.

Fuck, guess this isn't that much happies then.
