I bloody love this language. You have no idea how good it feels to be using it after pounding my head into the wall that is OCaml. :p

Everything is always so simple in Ruby, I can just focus on what I want the program to actually do.

I love how the minigun is smaller than all the other guns.

Fun fact: typing "Urist" causes a dwarf to spawn.

EDIT: I just dug up my DS and Super Scribblenauts to investigate further. It turns out Urists are also afraid of elephants and carp, and attack elves.

Huh, my degree progress isn't nearly as abysmal as I expected, now that I actually map it out. Even stuck playing catch-up this semester, and even though that's put me out of sync with the expected-by-course-scheduling progression, I actually ought to be able to wrap up the requirements by the end of the second year. I won't have everything I want, though, which means I'll basically be furiously auditing for about a year and a half, since I can't afford to actually attend any longer unless I absolutely must.

Also, thanks to judicious abuse of overlap in course requirements, I'll have both potential focuses the program offers. Arguably, I'm wasting two classes on doing that, but the fact is that I don't have much alternative, since there are no courses competing with that trick that I want to take, contribute to the program, are within my abilities this coming semester, and are actually offered during it.

I just downloaded a firefox plugin to block youtube comment sections. My life has already improved tenfold, and I think my IQ has increased significantly as well.
