I was in one of Remuthra's games with Immaterial. Immaterial tried an incredible feat of munchkinry, but Rem rocks falled him. He managed to come back as a ghost. At one point, he says "Ghost psion will hunt you down", so I take his Ponytailed Biden avatar, turn it into a meme image with  "Ghost psion will hunt you down" on it, and post it in the thread. He likes it, and makes it his avatar for a while.

Come to think of it, I don't know if I've ever been actually sigged.

To extend: I have a friend who is going through a hard time, I can tell, but it's difficult for her to trust me with what's going on.  I want to help her, but I'm completely powerless if I'm uncertain as to the problem.  Any advice?

Well, prove to her that you want to help her, and keep trying to help. The best thing for trust is time I think.
Talk to her about it? I assume you've tried that, but if not then do that.

Don't try and force her into talking about it. I'd think just saying that you want to help and you're available to talk to would be enough. They have to want to get help, and if they feel like they can't talk to people about or that they need to shoulder the burden on their own then trying to pressure her about it will only worsen the situation.

Basic rule of communication: There must exist trust between the people.

Probably the trust on her side is barrier...'d by some perceptions she thinks you may carry? Fear is a thing that disrupts communication.

As Spehss_ said, don't be forceful and let her know you're open to talk to. As in, tell her you're open to talk to.
