Watch dogs was fun, but not what I thought it'd be. Like I said in another thread, I was very disappointed in the "hacking", and it taught me that the most effective way to deal with problems was the grenade launcher.

Meh, was disappointed about Gunpoint too. Expecting something a lot more puzzly. The hacking in that game consisted of fucking around and easily killing guards. Not that different from Watchdogs

TIL coffee grounds go rancid. And that I was drinking rancid coffee for months, whenever I made it at home. No wonder it tasted so horrible.

Now got new coffee grounds, so the future is full of more delicious coffee! (not that it would have stopped me; I've had 3 cups of rancid coffee every day this week, heh)

Now I know this is old but I really need to comment on this.

THIS is why I don't drink coffee, if something tastes so bad that you can't tell immediately when it has gone rancid, why do people drink it?

Think of it less as a foodstuff you eat for being delicious, more of a liquid productivity. Think about days when you wish you had more energy to do stuff; days spent sitting in front of a computer doing nothing much aside from getting depressed about doing nothing much. Days where you wish you could get excited about something just so you could do something. Or if you have a project or similar you're procrastinating on for no good reason. That's when you need coffee. A few cups of coffee and you will have suddenly tapped into a massive reserve of energy you didn't realize was there, and get all sorts of stuff done.

Also to keep away the coffee withdrawal symptoms which kick in around 2 days after you stop drinking coffee. :y

The only time I'd drink coffee would be if I could get my hands on some Irish creamer.  Had a theater teacher who used that in his coffee forever ago.  That stuff was probably the best smelling thing I've ever had the pleasure of filling my nostrils.  Wish I remembered the name of the creamer, dangit.

If you only like the coffee for the creamer, maybe you should just drink the creamer instead?

I don't drink coffee. I get enough headaches as it is, no need for caffeinated ones also.

Water and only water for me.

Thought coffee was disgusting, because I only knew it the way my dad drank it -- black.  At 21, I was introduced to coffee with irish cream.  After drinking that, I noticed its benefits.  Then I became addicted and lost the benefits to tolerance.  Now it's just a dependency I've wished I could get rid of for the last 6 or 7 years.  I still love drinking it.  I just hate being physically dependent on something like that.  And I think it's had negative effects over the long-term.

This is why I stick to the following:
Water (a rarity, but whatever)
MILK (chocolate milk too; it is often regarded as a kids' drink but it is TASTY)
Tea (Pref. w/ honey)
Lemonade
Orange juice and ONLY orange juice. No other kinds of fruit juices for me.
Lastly but not least, various carbonated beverages, enough to make dentists keel over.
