I did that with Beat Hazard while playing the song "Back in the Day" by Megadeth. Ah, nostalgia for cartoons.

Writing out my world setting for a D&D 4e game, its pretty fun creating landmasses and then civilisations and the like. Plus it makes things a lot less disorderly in my head, so thats a bonus too.

Freespace 2 had the same effect on me :3

Personal happy: First day at work turned superb, people are nice and the stuff I have to do is both simple and easy. I'm so vibrating with energy and anxiety and everything eeeeeee~

Time to test this bad boy out.

EDIT: Oh my, the paint bucket tool actually supports AA now? YES!
