Now I feel like singing karaoke. Maybe I will this weekend.

Had a shave for the first time!

And cut myself shaving for the first time. Owww.

[Yoink]

Ouch.
I shaved like a pro the first time I did it, replacing my horribly patchy fuzz with a nice smooth surface without difficulty.
Then the second time I did it I cut my face and bled everywhere for freaking hours. I'm pretty sure those razors with the rows of  little parallel blades count as a warcrime or something.

[Fniff]

Why do you need one billion razor blades? That's a good why to kill yourself. Just have three and it'll be grand.

It was probably only three or four. Problem is, when you accidentally cut yourself with such a razor that's three or four little cuts, seemingly designed to bleed and sting as much as possible. At least I learned my lesson and am more careful these days...

i actually were expecting this to happen when gillette was pushing out razors with five blades a few years back with wilkinson reluctantly following

Why do you need one billion razor blades? That's a good why to kill yourself. Just have three and it'll be grand.

I honestly don't tell why you would ever need more than one. All that having multiple blades ever did for me was make the space around the blades so small that they immediately jammed and became ineffective upon use. Seriously, like, less than a swipe and I would have to use a metal wire or something to dislodge the stuff stuck between the blades.

On top of that, even when they worked (if I shaved religiously everyday the jamming could usually be washed out by high pressure water), they leave your face raw.

One blade is enough for me.

I've been happy since I got my safety razor though, especially, since that is one blade with TWO sides, meaning if it gets jammed I can just flip it, and you can open it up to clear it out in a half second or so and be good as new.

That's all well and good, but I don't think I'd trust myself with a straight razor.
