Both the adorable bunnies and the dialogue with your dog. What are you going to do with them?

The overwhelming, paralyzing feeling of stress seems to be alleviated for now.
That recension that I had been racking my brain over for half a day, resulting in a text that seemed so makeshift that I felt bad for submitting it minutes before the deadline turned out to be an A.
Working on my presentation didn't seem too bad afterward and I've got most of it done.

Rabbits around my house are practically tame.

You can get within about three feet of them sometimes without them hopping off.

Not that I saw. The dog tends to chase off/murderize anything that comes near the house. I assume the mother rabbit was around fairly recently, though; the three from today look pretty well-fed.

What are you going to do with them?

Not sure. There's a forest-y area nearby where we could let them go once they're mature, but right now they're way too young; they haven't even opened their eyes yet.

We have a rabbit that lives somewhere in the backyard. My roommate's Labrador will sit at the sliding-glass door staring at it. The other day I decided to be somewhat cruel and started egging her on by saying in an excited voice, "Bunny! You see the bunny?? Bunny bunny bunny! Where's the bunny? Go get the bunny!" until she was spinning in circles and yelping.

Then I leashed her up and opened the door but kept her on a short leash. The rabbit bolted around the side of the house, and rather than race straight out, she raced out and immediately sideways, which caught me off-guard and slammed my face into the side of the sliding door.


....on reflection, I deserved that.

To this day, I still don't know how he did it, but my cat (now deceased) somehow killed a rabbit, once. It's hard to wrap my head around how he caught up to the thing, especially because of his old age, but he was a pretty fierce hunter for his entire life, so I don't question it.

To this day, I still don't know how he did it, but my cat (now deceased) somehow killed a rabbit, once. It's hard to wrap my head around how he caught up to the thing, especially because of his old age, but he was a pretty fierce hunter for his entire life, so I don't question it.

It's "friends" probably sold it out in exchange for a package of catnip, which they later went on to re-sell at a high price on the open market.

You'll either want to put them back in the nest and hope their mom comes back overnight or else get them to a wildlife rehabber. They'll die if they aren't fed, and they'll die if you feed them improperly (too much/too little/too fast/wrong stuff). Those guys look really young.

I once had someone drive up while I was out walking and hand me a baby rabbit that they'd rescued from a parking lot where a pair of cats had been terrorizing it. Ended up taking it down the street and putting it outside in a box with a hole cut in the side so it could flee once it felt up to it. It was a lot older than these ones, but I still wonder if it survived alright.

Feral/outdoor cats are a massive problem for wildlife.
