My happy: No work today, so I get to play video games [STALKER Lost alpha] and watch my stocks day trade. Additional bonus: Seadrill and Transocean trading very well. I don't know why I didn't pick them up a long time ago. I should've been buying dividend stocks [Microsoft..] 20 years ago, but noooooo.

Whhaaaaat???? Has Lost Alpha finally been released?!

Wow.  It did release, about a week ago.  I'm in shock!  This is something I've anticipated for several years, and wasn't sure if would ever actually get done.  Now today: BAM! It's out!!

Although most cats are actually lactose-intolerant by adulthood (like most mammals...except you mutant cheese-eating freaks).  :P

One of my roommate's cats won't drink water the normal way. She dips her paw in it, then licks the water off her paw. It's adawwwwwrable.
My cat does both ways of drinking water.

Light rain over a short period.

There's that nice, earthy smell right now.
The smell of good, clean air. For about an hour.

Congratulations on the Birthday! Haughty disappointment at the drunken throwing up!  ;)

That's the same thing I did for my 21st birthday!

Except I insisted on staying home, my dad gave me a bottle of beer, I drank maybe 1/4th of it and threw up and vowed never again.  (The throwing up may have had more to do with eating half of a chocolate cake than the beer though)

Congrats!

On my 18th Birthday (Drinking age) I...err...went to a Chinese restaurant, had lots of food, got books, books and more books. IIRC, my aunt had some cider and asked if I would try some...when I did, that's as close as I came to being drunk XD

So, what's it like? Pleasant, or foolish? Happy, or sad?

Yes.

My happy (somewhat late) is finally getting around to finishing Portal 2 the other day. Such a fun game...

It depends on the individual; I have a fairly gentle progression from 'giggling and cheerful' (2 good beers/3-4 shots/4-5 cheap light beers) to 'asleep' (5-6 good beers/7-8 shots/I don't know because I don't drink that much crappy American beer). It can also vary based on what you're drinking, but I don't have too much experience with that because I basically only drink three brands of beer, one wine label, and one brand of potato vodka. :|

Can't say I've ever had an experience with being sad-drunk, the closest I've come is using screwdrivers to deal with stress back in high school, and that's a different sort of sad.
