Old book smell, definitely. I have a few that are more than a century old, and there's something unique about the smell of ye olde acidic paper compared to the acid-free stuff now.

I love the smell of old books, and the smell of new books.
I think I have to side with new-book-smell overall, though... so many different possible scents. I'm not sure whether it's the ink or the mixture of the paper or what, but some books smell even more delectable than others. I love it when they have this sort of papery-bread-dough smell to them, oh man I will just sit there for minutes on end nosing through the pages.
You probably think I'm joking, but I'm not. I love sniffing books. Every page I turn, I flip back to the last even numbered page, take a quick whiff of it, then turn to the next page. I get some odd looks but it is so worth it.

In the town I used to live in there is a nice little book store (selling new books, that is), and whenever I walk past it I end up being drawn in by the smell of books. I don't know if it's intentional or what, but the scent of fresh printed books just wafts out onto the footpath and drives me crazy.
