Yus. Got a modpack for S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Clear Sky, and my god, everything is new again. Guns got damage buffs, so everything dies easier, including you, there are more guns added, sounds got improved, and it just looks better. Ahh.

Stalker has one of the best modding communities.

It's Kill la Kill stuff. The show's, like, totes mc-exploding-goats-scrotes awesome. Not just totes magoats. Not just totes mcscrotes. So awesome the goats scrotes are exploding...totes.

It's finally hit critical mass. There is no point in within the show's duration at which I'm capable of not smiling. Good lord. At this rate, by the final episode, the smile will wrap clear around my head, decapitating me. No regrets.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

So I'm not the only person who gets a silly little smile from watching enjoyable shows. That's good, I thought I was just really dorky.

Odd how that only seems to occur from shows. Maybe movies too. Video games and books I guess take too much concentration, but watching some awesome cartoon prompts me to actually smile a not-forced "I am enjoying myself and smiling without realizing it" smile.

I get dazed smiles from reading books, too.  Usually more with books than shows at this point, to be honest--I had a long phase when I was less into books and more into visual media, after a childhood where it was books books books all the time, but that seems to be turning around again.

Yeah, me with books is a serious look of concentration, and usually some repetitive motion such as tapping.

Unless it's something like Pratchett, or Butcher, or The redemption of Althalus.
Then I laugh where a joke is made. But otherwise srsbusinessface.

Getting dazed smiles would be pretty inappropriate while reading some books.

And Vector got a dazed smile on her face as she intently read the harrowing rape scene.

Well I am a soulless monster, but there are some things (Douglas Adams, Psychonauts, and that's about it) that make me grin like an idiot.

The Redemption of Althalus.
Woooooooooooo!

Edit: "Werner Herzog" playing Dark Souls 2 made me giggle, does that count?

Hate every David Eddings book, except for some reason that one is my favorite book of all time.
(Or was, until I discovered the Dresden files. Now it's just murky...)

No book has made me laugh louder or more frequently than this one.
I think that was the first book that ever really made me laugh out loud, too... plenty of humorous books might amuse me, or even make me crack a smile, but this one was at the 'crying tears of laughter' level. Consistently, all the way through. :D
