Went out and bought myself a brand new computer this afternoon to replace my old one.

And I installed Doom on this thing.

After many years and re-buying/starting over, I finally managed to 100% beat Odin Sphere!
What a great game. Really good storytelling, unique/fun gameplay, stunningly beautiful 2D illustrated graphics, strangely compelling cooking system... I liked the music a lot too. The way it handled the endgame was really neat from a storytelling perspective, and I don't think I've ever seen another game do something similar.

I originally bought it for PS2 and played about 3/4 of the way through the game. Just recently picked it back up for PS3 on PSN during a $5 sale. FYI, if you ever planned to play this game, definitely do the PS3 version. The original PS2 release was great but had pretty intense slowdown/crazy-long load times in a few specific places, and the digital PS3 version seems to run 90% better.

Huzzah! Now on to Dark Souls.

Oh god, you just reminded me that I should be starting the marathon to complete the games on my steam list... I always seem to start it and never finish the games... Not because I'm bored with it, but because I play another game and happen to forget that I was playing it.

Lo and Behold, when the Imperium marches against Gul Kothoth..
Possibly the longest song title I've ever seen. As well as the longest album title.

Allow me to obliterate that longest song title record for you.

Pink Floyd - Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict

That is the full song title, even though the link doesn't include it all.
Fair enough, but Bal-Sagoth sets a much more consistent standard of obscenely long song titles.
the full song title is "And lo, when the enpire marches against gul kothoth, dark sorceries shall enshroud the citadel of the obsidian crown.

I'm glad watchmen introduced me to this song.[/img]
I made the mistake of going to the comments. Some... odd... stuff down there. And no, I'm not talking about the comments in Thai.

What's wrong with using magma? That's almost always the easiest method.
I have issues channeling it properly to do that method. I end up flooding the fortress with magma.

Well then... on behalf of Pink Floyd, I admit defeat.
