You should try going from cell to space age as Carnivore(Red) > Social (Green) > Friendly (Green) > Economic (Blue) for debatable the hardest path and best rewards. Ecologist class is best class.  :)

Classes are not based on the order when you get the colour results, so you can swap it to Herbivore to the red one in Creature, arguably harder.

Bah, red->red->red->blue for conquering master race. Plus my species ended up way too menacing to do anything else.
Plus Galactic Adventures so I can have multiple superweapons at once, hehehe.

True, but there are other perks you pick up along the way from each stage depending on your choice, and that ensures the better perks. I forget what those perks are, but I recall that was the best mix of them.

Yeah, there's space stage bonuses that you get and often the red ones are most important - in cell stage your ship gets more health if you choose carnivorous, I think you use weapons more efficiently in creature stage if you choose red, tribal stage all of them kinda suck, and blue in civilization stage gives your everything a spice production boost which is incredible.

I usually play as a zealot. You can instantaneously take an entire planet, leaving all of the colonies intact. Yes, it breaks the galactic code, but chances are if you're using something like that, everyone already hates you.

It shouldn't be possible to be blazing through my Sanskrit course this quickly. But, somehow, it is.

So Comcast announced that they are buying out Time Warner Cable.

Most people would think that this announcement belongs in the rage thread, not the happiness thread.  And understandably so.

At my last job, I worked for a firm that did analytical work for telecoms.  TWC was my client.  They were highly unprofessional and disorganized.  Eventually, they needed a scapegoat to take a fall for something.  My boss gave me a bunch of assignments I couldn't complete and then went on vacation.  TWC wouldn't budge on the completion date of these assignments and I would have been fired for not completing them in time so I resigned in protest.

So this news is good because my former boss and my former contact at TWC must be squirming this morning.

I'd say that's probably the easiest path once you get out of the creature phase. Friendly in tribal is OP as hell especially if you're a carnivore (eggs supply infinite food for gifts) and economic is... just way too easy. You get money for selling, you get money for buying, you get money from spice, you give money to avoid war, you buy more cities, you get more money. There's only one resource in the mode and economic has a monopoly on it and every city adds to it, so it's kinda easy.

Yeah, I intend to convert to a Zealot using one of those missions then destroy the empire that gave me it and use it to farm purple spice home worlds.

Economic is insanely OP; by the end of it I had over 600,000 sporebucks.

Watched Oblivion again (Sky has it on Sky Premier! Yay!).

I like the film. It also has Morgan Freeman, who is one of my favourite actors.
Yeah it's nice to see Tom Cruise devoting himself to science fiction.

I loved Oblivion.

One of the few movies to make me sad, up until
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And the absolute lack of true closure didn't help it, as it will likely never have a sequel. Loose ends suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It's a great movie but a bit flawed and shallow in how it approached the ending.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
doesn't quite work in that scenario.

@ Spore discussion: I've always like the Shaman's super ability.

One of our ex-employees stopped by with her 2 and a half year old.
