I couldn't come up with a word for "rambling monologue" that ends in "-ation", so I had to break a trend for special segues (analogous to special movement options). I don't actually care, though, it's not like there's a particular trend in Dodge, Close In, Withdraw, and Run, either.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Why does this entertain me so much?

The voice actors playing it seriously probably helps hehe.

I have tortilla chips! My jar of delicious, painfully delicious habenero salsa shall no longer tempt and taunt me!

Oh man, I've been having some tortilla chip cravings lately and they only come in half a kilo bags or are expensive over here.

One's perception of food becomes very, very different when it's up to you to feed yourself regularly. No homecooked meals, no dining hall to run to, just a few provisions to get me by and it's up to me to make the most of it. That being said, even something so simple as homemade burritos is a whole lot more satisfying than cereal and a cup of noodles or one of those itsy pre-packaged meals packed with pounds of salt. It excites me for when I'll have more food to work with and more ideas of how to feed myself. I've half a dozen eggs in the fridge now, so there's another good two meals checked off. Sure wish I had chives or something around here, though!

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
