Do you normally drink a lot of milk? Suddenly taking a lot more of it can be problematic to most people. Still happy to hear you are being this mindful of your health.

... might depend on the time frame you're talking about. Given enough time, most liquids can eventually break down solids, from what I understand.

But, yeah, tea stains. That kinda' indicates it's doing some not-quite-benign things on the chemical level :P

Do you normally drink a lot of milk? Suddenly taking a lot more of it can be problematic to most people. Still happy to hear you are being this mindful of your health.

I've been eating maybe 1/3 of what I normally do for the past two weeks and all of my clothes are suddenly really loose (uh, and my eyebrows seem to be shedding), so this is sort of an emergency measure to bypass the nausea/disgust I get from eating.  I can't eat more than half a plate of food at a meal, but I can drink one hell of a lot of milk without any problem.

Anyway, what I'm saying is, thank you for your concern but whether I end up with other gastro-intestinal complaints or not, it's more important to me at this point to stabilize my weight/protein intake than it is to feel healthy in the stomach area.

[Insert charming greetings to everyone here!]

I really hope the date goes well.  I'm also thinking about stopping in a nearby bird shop, which is full of all sorts of beautiful critters.  Dunno... I'm really nervous to do an abnormal first date like this, but there's no point in being someone other than myself.

He told a friend of mine that he prefers "benevolent dictator" women... ?  I can certainly do that >____>

Man, that sounds awesome. I can add yet another data point to the "this is a good strategy" column, because if asked to join Vector for mint tea I would way yes so fast they'd have to revise the definition of the Planck time. I'm saying that I predict success :)

Also, I got to bust out one of my favorite quotes today. "Moderation is for monks."

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Honestly, I'd have mint tea with everyone who posts regularly in this thread. At once.

In fact, let's make this happen sometime in the future.
