I heard similar stories on BlueNC back during the 2008 election. People in the mountains that would proclaim "I'm voting for the n----r!"  ???

Holiday shopping underway. I've purchased some jewelry for my mother, which will primarily be useful as a source of beads for the jewelry she is making as a hobby. Some clothes for my sister, which she requested via one of those website wishlist thingies. My niece is getting one of these. Somebody has got to get some dinosaurs worked into her youth. Everybody else wants cash, which is easy enough.

Hopefully nobody in my family reads these boards.
