Misko, I'd like to thank you for this.

It adequately expresses the reasoning behind my advance on Quebec: Because I'm evil. And I don't like the French. But mostly the evil thing.
I know every word to that song. ^_^

Lol, I shall learn them.

Also, I use razor blades from my box cutter to shave. :P Not that I need to.

Pff, why wouldn't I want razor sharp blades near by jugular and carotid?

Darkling Wolf: Bleed out? Psh, motherfucker, I'm just trying to drown you with my own blood.

In other news, returned from a trip to the northern wilderness of MI with my dad, hiking through dunes, stump fields, old-growth forests, and an abandoned logging camp from the 1800s. The early days of Autumn are one of my favorite times of the year, and spending it surrounded by glacier-carved hills and lakes, and ancient birch and pine woodlands is even better.
I love this state. Except where there's people. We kinda got screwed on that part worse than a lot.

Y'know, I just realized, it's kind of like France: God made France a beautiful, incredible place, and made up for it by putting the French there (No offense meant to French people)

Tangentially related, apparently the Northern Lights were really good last night, but (since they sort of come and go) I missed them.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

It's a 10 hour drive from my home, too. Which is why I decided to live at school rather than commute. (hint: the commute makes Tuesday/Thursday classes hard to get to, and gas money gets expensive)

Y'know, I just realized, it's kind of like Earth: God made Earth a beautiful, incredible place, and made up for it by putting humans there (No offense meant to French individuals).
FTFY.

But yeah, mountains. I've been up to north carolina for vacation a couple of times, so far. I was utterly unsurprised to learn I have an easier time staying upright going up and down the side of a mountain than I do walking across a parking lot. Freaking unnaturally flat surfaces mumblemutter.

Also bloody beautiful and wonderful summer weather. Shame about the majority of the inhabitants.

Re: Mints: I'm... not very fond of mints? I do peppermint, and I can eat mints -- even gnaw on the leaves a bit -- but it's not exactly my favorite taste sensation. And mint chocolate... bloody travesty. Why people insist on doing that to chocolate I'll never know :-\

Salted licorice tastes terrible until you've had like 3 or 4 of them.  Then its the most addictive thing ever.
