I'm just home for the weekend. I think if I had to spend another one with Worst Person On Earth I really would be crazy. Hopefully he doesn't notice I'm gone until I'm back, lest he do something reckless and illegal in our room. On the other hand, that might get him kicked out, so there's a bright side if he does.

Fall break isn't until mid-October. I was originally coming back to get the last of my vaccinations, but my doctor isn't open on weekends so I have to wait for fall break to get that done. Now I'm just here to relax.

Just watched Jurassic Park (for the billionth time). I'm surprised how well the dinosaurs hold up. Also, why can't modern summer blockbusters get orchestral soundtracks?

I just saw Prometheus.  Holy shit, that was a good movie. Especially Fassbender.

I assume because John Williams isn't as active anymore. It's quite sad.

Hehe, for some reason I read PoH's post as 'attractive' and then retroactively interpreted the 'dinosaurs' part as referring to the actors.


Anyway, my (somewhat)happy: I finally worked up the motivation to send a couple of inquiries about accomodation.
Now, if only I have the stones to follow up on this... Maybe sometime soon I can get out of this awful situation.

another great night for anime club, picked up a chick along the way and had a nice conversation (kinda weird since i offered her a ride to school and said yes over facebook without even meeting before) Watched ghibli films(TOTORO FTW), and SSBB in the end until campus security told us to get out.

You're the first person I've heard of who has had good things to say about Prometheus without a ton of reservations.
