Happy: NFL getting their regular referees back!  :D

Sad: NHL still not gettting their season back yet.  :'(

Amarok was able to sync with ipods last time I checked.

Got the house to myself tonight. Just polished off a small tub of potato salad, and in a bit I'm going to have some pasta from this Italian place in a town not far from where I live.

I got a call to be interviewed for a cashier position at Sam's Club. I'm really hoping that I get this, and then maybe I can start turning my life into something worth living.

That really cheered me up today, right when I was feeling especially down (again) and the sad thread was about to get caught in the deluge of my crocodile tears (again).

I hadn't had an apple for over four months. Now I do. Delicious apple... Mmm...

Minor revelation/WTF: The apple's a Paula Red apple, originating from the McIntosh apple. Yes, McIntosh as in the same apple Apple's Macintosh is named after. Paula Red was the cheapest apple (kg/€) in the store... Not sure if I'm eating the apple of sin from the garden of Eden, or some pariah, saintly apple.

Yeah, Macintosh was named after an apple type.

There are a LOT of types of apple. I live in Michigan, I would know.

Only fools and horses.

This show is so insane and insanely awesome, it's the pinnacle of british humor (along with Python) and pretty much the pinnacle of humor as far as tv shows go.

iirc, iTunes is the only way you're going to get mp3s onto it.

actually, since he is using ubuntu you can transfer music onto it, or I could with my 3rd gen Ipod by updating a certain file, think usb host... can't find the solution I used from a quick Google though and forgot the specifics.  you might want to try rhythmbox and see if it will sync with the Iphone as that is the option that came up the most.  I wish you luck.
