I'm not sure why I did it, and I'm pretty sure that I'm the only one on the B12 forums who did, but I just watched the NFL Draft (Round 1). Football will be upon us soon. ^_^

Meanwhile, three weeks on the job and I got a bonus.  That's pretty cool.  I mean, I was promised it before I even started working, but more money is always cool, especially when I didn't work nearly as hard as I claimed to get it.

Discovering the joys of savestate abuse and arena farming while playing Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. Everyone gets stronger, and the prize money is more than enough to replace damaged weapons.

I actually played through FE8 twice on my GBA SP with no cheating whatsoever. What that means is that basically, instead of arena abuse, it's Monster Tower Abuse. It's arguably unnecessary though as the game is very easy, probably the easiest of all the installments, and you're just embarrassing it with a powerleveled party.
This is my first FE game. I'm not very good at it, and I want to avoid casualties :P
Thus, exp and money at the arena.

I see I see. It's a touch easy, but I still think it's one of the better games in the series. Good luck to your FE endeavors!
Sadly, it looks like the AI is catching on. My Level 3 Archer just got matched against a Level 7. Yeah, no.
ETA: On the other hand, huzzah for Level 4 Monk taking down a Level 7 Pirate without getting a single scratch.

Also, have you played Path of Radiance? How does it's difficulty stack up?

I actually have not played Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn, FE 9 and 10 respectively, simply because they're on the Gamecube and Wii respectively, but they are the next ones on my list to play, in respective order.

I actually don't know alot about Path except that I'm a little hyped to jump into it because I heard that it re-debuts the skill system that was present in FE4, my favorite in the series. I just need to get the right things to play them is all.

Aqizzar acquired: MOAR MONEY!

And it tastes good.  At this rate, I'll have as much money as I started the year with any day now.  Oh boy!

Almost makes up for spending a hundred dollars a week on gas and toll fares to get to and from work, a situation for which my boss has zero sympathy, even as he complains about having to drive farther than fifteen minutes from his house to find office space.

Also the latest South Park was god damn hilarious. With one slight exception, it wasn't even gross.
I agree; it was pretty great. Also, that episode made me wonder something:

Oh Lord, here we go with this again.  Leave our awesome triangular brohood alone.

*hurk* Damn, bro. Any way to get around the tolls, at least?

There are ways for me to avoid the tollway, yes.  They are ways that involve giving up an extra hour of my day to an already unspeakably long commute, and will inevitably result in me brandishing a pistol on the freeway.

The actual answer is, I'm going to be moving a lot closer within a month.  Just want another paycheck or two in my pocket.

I travel 75km to get to my uni. I can't afford to move out yet. :P

Of those 75km, 73km are spent on trains. The remaining amount is either bus or shank's pony, depending on timetables.

Cost wise, thankfully, it's quite cheap @ $6.30 concession a day. Yay Victoria.

It costs me roughly $30 a week for travel. Car would be vastly, vastly more expensive, given our petrol is ridiculously high at the moment. Bike = out of the question, too far to ride 150km to/from uni and still have enough time to study/sleep/eat.

Though stuff's looking up. The girl I'm a likin' at the moment is becoming a little more friendly with me. I ain't planning to ask her out until I have started work, because honestly, asking parents for money for a date is pretty shitty.
