Congratulations, when do you get your new prosthetic finger replacements?  :P

I only ever beat that song on GH3 on Easy mode. And I still thought my hands were going to drop off at the end.

Ah guitar hero, I liked that game... I think the best I ever did was Metallica's 'One' on expert, and I have no fucking idea how I managed to pull it off. I could play 3/4 of it blind folded, but then BAM YOU DIE NOW.
Although I could play though all of Killswitch Engage , My curse blindfolded on expert. Annoyed the fuck out of a few of my friends who I played with. Turns out they all played by site, watching the little gems fall down, while I played by ear only taking a few cues from the gems... Fun, drunken times.

Went out with some buddies and caught The Grey last night.

Now, on one hand, it seems like it was written by people who knew very little about wolves, survival in the cold, or the laws of physics. On the other hand, this was one of the rare films I watched in which that totally didn't matter. The film was a drama at its core, rife with symbolism, and using a very Jack London "Man vs. Nature" theme; I loved the parallels being drawn between the Alpha Wolf and his/her pack, and Liam Neeson and his band of survivors. It was a really great little survival story, the likes of which I haven't seen for a while.

The plot was a tragic one the whole way through, and despite just heaping despair upon despair, the movie kept trucking... which was kinda frames what seems to be the film's theme. Life's going to shit on you, and it doesn't always have a reason for doing it. What's important isn't that we triumph over adversity every time, but that we keep fighting, no matter what.

Some good stuff. I'd highly recommend you go catch it.

Played humongous battle in shogun 2 campaign. Total of 10k men fighting and the battle ended with 8000 corpses in a forest. The lag was pretty bad until I got away from the forest. All those corpses were causing massive slowdown.
