He's only contributed to Rhapsody of Fire.  (Narration, right?  I'll get around to listening to it one of these days.)  IIRC, he's actually made one metal album of his own besides that.
This is the classic example. They just finished the 10 album, 14 year saga that he was included in. IIRC, the first five are the saga of the Emerald Sword, then the next five being the Dark Secret saga with Lee on them.

Lee's own album is Charlemagne, but there are very few clips around. Maybe this and this.

Then there is this.

Came across a series called Farscape, a sci-fi series whose main characters include the 2 actors from the last SG-1 seasons playing Vala and Mitchell. Thus far, the two seem to fit much better into the more wacky setting of Farscape than they ever did in SG-1.

Farscape was actually a pretty good scifi series. It does deserve recommendation.

I recently discovered the band Blind Guardian.

They have a few songs based on the Wheel of Time Series, I am really fucking happy now.

I have learned to make hot chocolate without recourse to such mundane methods as pre-made mix, syrup, cocoa powder, or even chocolate bars. I use only milk. And booze.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

These are serious questions: Do you like the Lord of the Rings? Do you also appreciate rock operas and not care too much if there's a 'story' going on within your music?

If so you owe it to yourself to listen to Nightfall in Middle-Earth as soon as possible.

If you liked that, and also like Mega Man, may I also suggest the Proto Men?

To stay within the confines of the Happy Thread Mandate, today I finished another batch of exams and get to go home tomorrow.

Farscape's pretty awesome, but I preferred Claudia Black as Vala~

I second this.  I cannot fully express my love for that album.  It's my favorite metal album, and full of absolutely incredible storytelling technique.  I'm amazed at how they manage to weave quotes from the books directly into their lyrics, while still fully expressing the nature of events that took dozens of pages to describe in a few minutes.  Mirror Mirror, for example, is so intricately layered with symbolism that thoroughly describes Turgon's character, the build-up to the fall of Gondolin, and the general dilemma faced by the elves of middle-earth in that age all at once.  Truly masterful.

The Vala character was indeed quite good and very entertaining, and judging from the 1 and a half episodes of Farscape I've seen so far, probably better than her character in Farscape. But she seemed entirely out of place in Stargate's military sci-fi setting.

As for Stargate's Mitchell character... forgettable is probably the nicest adjective I would use for it.

Figured out some issues CamStudio was having recording 1) being the animations from my slides weren't looking quite (to slow) right which was related to 2) where the audio wasn't quite matching up. This is exactly why I'm testing it tonight before I do the real deal tomorrow...

Thanks to the LP, I've gotten into Infinite Space. Fun game, that is.

Took a good while, but I have a decent little fleet of destroyers at my fingertips blowing the crap out of some rather sizable ships and fleets regularly. Love the customizability of the ships as well while at it. With enough unlocked mods, even some of the smaller ships can become deadly (or extremely profitable if made for it and escorted properly).

Wow, it's been years since I saw any Farscape. I enjoyed it at the time. I'll have to find and watch it again.

I've been meaning to watch more of that show. I also have LEXX to rewatch as well. Both were awesome sci-fi shows.
