I walked in on my little brothers with a little restaurant game which was set up with a monopoly board and my little brother's clay figure things that he makes. I brought a pair of dice in and we began rolling for stuff. I ended up being a bathroom attendant who got his ass kicked by the boss. Then we did character sheets, and I DM'd for a couple turns, and our tank got his ass kicked by the Corporate manager (who uses a 3d4 shotgun, pretty fucking scary for a lvl 1.) and thrown into a meat locker. I had a character as well, and managed to get a couple of bottles of alcohol from the bar, and destroy the first aid kit on a natural 1 while one of our characters had a hangover and the other got into the petting zoo which contained a cobra and a lion (so badass).

Icing on my cake for today.
Funny you should mention cake, I got a cake from work today. Carrot cake topped(or possibly in the cake itself as well) with walnuts and has cream cheese icing.

I also have two new coworkers who aren't incompetent jerkasses.

We also recieved a few leeks towards the end of the day, but I was unable to instruct my fellow coworkers in the joys of spinning them.

I have a tub of that icing in my fridge.

I scalded my left hand and it's kinda painful to type this :'(

But on the upside, I'm eating noodles and drinking hot cocoa at half past one at night.

While browsing through the This American Life archives, I found an episode about the Internet from '97. A sort of 'tell your stories in a few minutes' episode. :D

Well, everything's just about set for me to depart tomorrow morning. Probably going to be my last post for a good while. Wish me a safe flight. I'll try to pop my head in when I get the chance while I'm away, but I'll likely miss any livestreams that come along during the week.

Psychologists claim games can alter personal reality.  After playing a game a while, ever get the feeling where you start to see and feel aspects of the game in real life?  Yeah, psychologists finally caught on.  I know it isn't just games though.  When I started my job as a plant merchandiser, I saw plants rearranging themselves on tables whenever I closed my eyes.  Not a hallucination, I could tell it wasn't real.
