Got bit in the eye by my dog.
Quite a bit surprised that it didn't get damaged or anything.

Whoa what

Well after having dissected an eyeball in high school science class, I can tell you first hand, they are tough little things! Takes some effort to break through them.

Also, It is raining in Sydney today. <3 rain.

Not much effort to get them pulled out or scratched, though.

Oh man, I just spent like 6 and a half hours working on a single project. I actually feel productive, and it's been a while since that last felt true without it being at stuff I hate (and thus souring my entire day).

When I started, this was two rectangles. Now it's maybe 1/10 complete! Progress is sweet. And I don't have to solder anything for this one, so I am not angry at it.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

A pendant, eventually, but it will look completely different because MOAR WEAVING and also folding and etching and filing and rivets and setting a shell in the middle. Oh god so much work to do. And for once, that makes me happy.

Wow, thank you! I'm not quite sure what brought this on but thank you nonetheless. :)

Oh that's cool. I was thinking it might end up being the most awesome belt buckle in the world. More pictures once you've finished!
