wait wut? we only say pineapple?
I think we wanted to minimize confusion with the word bananas. So why not call them something completely different? makes sense with our language.

I laughed until my stomach hurt. Which wasn't hard, since I think I mildly pulled my abdominal muscle at some point last night.
My goodness. I'll get the dry-vac.

Going to Livestream this afternoon, probably starting with Nazi Cortex Command. One of these days I need to set a date to stream The Lion in Winter too, but I'm waiting for a vote of interest for that. It's a great drama though, and you should all see it!

Successfully wrote a short story with no pronouns whatsoever used for the third-person POV character.  I think it was actually not so badly written, either.  Not well, but not badly.

Pretty damned good.

Walked home to the pillows again.
It's like an instant 'holy fuck, my day has been fucking amazing' pill.
And by pill, I mean suppository.
For your ears.

Meanwhile, I think I'm rekindling a friendship with a friend of mine.
We've been friends with awhile, but last year, due to schedule issues, we kinda stopped seeing each other at all.
Now, in the second half of this year, we both have PE (albeit different classes) last thing in the day, so I get to see her at the beginning and end of the period and lately we've been leaving together because I keep my stuff in the Japanese room, which is near where she parks her bike.
Then, next year, we signed up for a lot of the same classes.
Only differences being math and Japanese.

I'm going for the Baptism by Fire method of learning to be better at Scrabble.  I'm playing against a computer opponent on difficulty 10, which basically means it scans the dictionary for the highest scoring possible word and throws it in there, so it's regularly pulling 7-9 letter words out of its ass while I'm around four or five.  Eventually it will pay off.

Also, I may end up playing fiddle in German bars in the future, to help pay for amenities if I happen to try to find work there at some point.

Apparently it's all the rage over there right now.
