Found the Polyglot Project online. The library is unimpressive as of now, but hey, free books in several languages, and a nifty translation thing too.

It looks very promising, seeing as how it seems to have started up only this year.

It's possible to change the gender that it says.

This one seeks enlightenment, oh Wise One.

Pretty simple, though it regrettably does not persist.

You can make more permanent changes with Greasemonkey.
I did that once to make WorkerDrone's avatar Cirno.
Because HE IS THE STRONGEST.

It involves insects.
And fire. Lot's and lot's of fire.
I'm scared, and sleepy.

 Bring it on.

It sounds weird when recorded...

Learning all these foreign languages is starting to seriously fuck up my pronunciation.  I find the English -sh pretty difficult to pronounce if I'm speaking at anything less than full speed nowadays, I say "er" like "euhr" from French, and I say things like "however" or "horrible" as "khowever" and "khorrible" (Korean violin teacher), mess up all kinds of stress patterns due to influence from my Polish math professor... and actively perform whatever it's called from Japan, where you add little "hm" noises of agreement after every clause the other person finishes.

Makes arguing even more fun.

Ah, thanks. I'll be sure to use that sometime.

Now to find a way to make it serverside.  :P

As an aside, isn't there a lot of security issues regarding Greasemonkey? I may be wrong, but it's still a deterrent, minor though it may be.

Yay, it's 4AM and I'm still working.

That music link reminded me I still need to eventually read through the Umineko sound novels. And the Higurashi ones. Oh well, one thing at a time.

As for happiness, I've been playing QWOP off and on through the evening. I manage to find it incredibly entertaining despite the endless string of failures less than two steps from the starting line.

Nah, Greasemonkey is user-end javascript.
It's really nothing special.
If you wanted to get something serverside, you'd be able to do it without Greasemonkey in the first place.

So addictive. I can't beat my record though.

Running is a lot harder than I thought, but after about 50 tries, I can run forward 10 meters and backwards 3.5.

And you know what? I consider this a huge fucking success.

I had a cathartic breakdown tonight. I realized that the reason I'd been so miserable is because I was doing things because external, rather than internal, motivation. I am a creative person, or, at least, I enjoy doing creative things, and I won't be happy in a career that doesn't reflect that.

So, I have mixed feelings about my latest Creative Writing assignment. On one hand, I get to take a franchise that I'm familiar with and put my own spin on it. On the other hand, we're all supposed to write fanfiction, which I have never felt too keenly about.

Also, I've decided to pick one of the hardest characters to write ever. A Batman scene, through the eyes of The Joker.

It becomes easier when you realize that everything you write is essentially fanfiction. In the loosest possible sense anyway. I mean, that's what we do, steal things we like and then add a few new ideas.
