Oh, crap!  I was thinking about Beaumarchais.  Sorry about that >_<
Happens to the best of us. For the longest time I was convinced that Lem wrote Zamyatin's We, hehehe.

And yeah, I'm ordering from Amazon.

So, I'm thinking you should go with Signet, if only due to page count >_>  Clocking at around 700 pages is what you should expect in terms of a properly footnoted and unabridged edition.  For example, both of my French copies have that sort of number, and many of their pages are half-footnote.

Otherwise, Penguin is okay much of the time, but in this instance I don't think they necessarily added footnotes to the vast majority of the historical information, choosing instead to use an archaic English word to match the archaic French.

I'm glad that I don't have to recommend the version I had been espousing, because in comparison it seems completely inadequate--no translations for the Latin, Greek, or Spanish, for example.

My maths homework managed to escape me in the most comprehensive way possible this week.  In that the document I needed for it could've been lost any time between now and the start of the year, and could have been lost pretty much anyway in my bag, room or school (a staple came loose and made me lose the very back page of my handbook, it seems).

Luckily, it's available on the school website.  Phew.

The Comment was by me (Burnt Pies) on This Comic, and the originally posted comic was made using that comment.

Also, nothing to do with the timezone, so far as I know. It's more the shape the arms of the clock make in the little logo at the top there.

Mountain Time
Ah well, it happens. And sometimes it doesn't. I am still disappoint that my ">Marisa: Cast magic missile at the darkness" command hasn't been executed. Despite several people having bandwagonned. D:

Just woke up and I feel grrrreat!

Kinda odd since I pulled an all-nighter animoo marathon/vidyagame marathon.

I've watched FSN until episode 10, NGE until... Uh, I forgot, replayed HL2 and some other things that I don't remember.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Penguin edition since it's got a more authentic title but the last thing I need to do is learn even more archaic English words that I'll never get to use, hehe. I'll probably pick up the Signet printing.

You don't use freedom Penguin. First you demand it, then you have it.
No using. That's not what freedom is for.
